I am writing to share with all of you the healing I experienced through Marianne Streich. Two and a half weeks after having a hysterectomy, I lay in an Indianapolis hospital unable to eat, feeling weak from intravenous feeding, and anxious over my condition. A second surgery was scheduled to remove the bowel obstruction which had occurred as a result of the first. The day before the second surgery, Marianne called me at the request of a friend in Seattle. She asked permission to send me distant Reiki. I said yes, and she told me she would begin the treatment as soon as we got off the phone. During the treatment, I could feel my body relax and begin to heal itself. My spirit soared. The next morning, the surgeon told me that they had decided to cancel the surgery because my condition had improved so much! Marianne continued to send me distant Reiki daily, and a few days later I was able to go home. I credit Marianne with this powerful healing—through her and the help of Reiki I got better and continue to get stronger each day. Thank you so much, Marianne!

A Treat I Give Myself

A Reiki session with Marianne is a treat I give myself to take a break from the day and rejuvenate after being “out in the world.” I am greeted by a wonderfully warm and joyful person. We chat a bit and figure out what would be a good intention for the session. She offers up a most elegant prayer and proceeds to bask me in the light of her healing hands. I usually am so relaxed, carefree, and warm that I am somewhere between being awake and asleep for most of the session. I reach a point where I know I am not asleep and don’t ever want the session to be over.
